Northport Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Angela

NORTHPORT, NY — Angela, an 11-month-old female tabby known for being super sweet, was named the Northport Cat Rescue Association's featured pet this week.

"Angela is shy at first but quickly warms up and wants nothing more than to be around her people all the time," Lora Wild, a volunteer at the rescue, said. "Whether working on your computer, doing yoga or simply relaxing on the couch, Angela is always nearby curled up purring or playing. She loves to sit and watch birds and animals from the window or fish in their tank, in a curious and silly way as if she is longing for a new friend!"

Angela knows her name, and she'll come running when you call her, according to Wild. She gets along with other cats, children, and even dogs.

"This purrfect little girl has so much to offer, all she needs is a chance!," Wild said.

She is spayed, has all her shots, is litter box-trained, micro-chipped and FELV/FIV Negative.

Angela has spent her kittenhood in the association's care, same as last week's featured kitten, Juliana. Both are looking for a family.
