Voters Approve Northport-East Northport School Budget, Board Members Elected
Residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.
Northport-East Northport residents approved a 2017-18 school budget on Tuesday.
The $163,306,840 budget passed by a margin of 2,074-636 margin, according to the school district. The budget is a 1.19 percent spending increase over the current year and it comes with a 1.46 percent tax levy increase.
Voters also elected Donna McNaughton to the Northport-East Northport Board of Education.
