Northport Field Hockey Makes Strides Against Breast Cancer
The team raised thousands of dollars through fundraising and their annual Play for the Cure game.
The Northport Varsity and JV Field Hockey teams raised thousands of dollars to go towards the fight against breast cancer at a fundraising walk Sunday at Jones Beach.
The team has participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk for the last six years. They had more than 20 girls walk for the cause on Sunday and even more helped fundraise.
The teams have raised $2,300 for the cause through individual fundraising and their annual Play for the Cure game.

“The team is continuing to fundraise in hopes of donating even more to the cause,” coach Christina Margiore said.
