Northport Field Hockey Teams Fundraise at Breast Cancer Walk

The Northport High School Field Hockey teams have shown their character on and off the field over the past year.

Not only have the Tigers been having a successful season, they recently gave back to the community by participating in the 5K Breast Cancer Walk at Jones Beach on Sunday.

Over 20 girls from both varsity and junior varsity teams as well as parents and friends walk for the cause. The teams raised $2,700.

The team participates and helps fundraise for this event each year.
