Northport Fire Department Celebrates 125 Years
The celebration includes parade, marching band and antique fire trucks.
The Northport Volunteer Fire Department celebrated its 125th anniversary on Saturday.
The festivities included a parade, marching band and antique fire trucks.
The parade’s grand marshals were 10 Northport firefighters, each with more than 50 years of volunteer community service. They included Peter Cross, David Weber Sr, Joseph Esposito, Paul Scherer, Wilbur Scherer Sr, Richard Lewisy, John Heist, Louis Dahl, Raymond Maloney and Eric Windus.
