Northport PD Blotter: Drunken Man Blasts Music In Car At 2 A.M.
The man also refused to take a breath test or do any field sobriety tests, police say.
NORTHPORT, NY — Check out some recent incidents from the Northport Village area, from Jan. 6 through Jan. 12.
The Northport Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

- James Graziano, 46, of East Northport, was seen driving 2006 Ford on Scudder Avenue when he ran a stop sign around 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 7, police said. After stopping Graziano, the officer smelled alcohol on his breath, and Graziano performed poorly on several field sobriety tests, police said. Graziano was arrested and charged with DWI: BAC reading (an E felony), DWI (an E felony), first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle: under influence/conditional license and failed to stop at stop sign on Jan. 7.
- Nicolas DeGuido, 21, of East Northport, was driving a vehicle on Laurel Avenue he wasn't given permission to use, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle: no consent on Jan. 8.
- Brian Bockelken, 31, of Fort Salonga, was blasting music in his 2015 Toyota on Fort Salonga Road adjacent to Jefferson Avenue just after 2 a.m. Jan. 9, police said. An officer noticed Bockelken's breath reeked of alcohol when interviewing him, police said. Bockelken refused to perform any field sobriety tests, police said. Police say his license was also currently suspended. Bockelken was arrested and taken to Northport Police Headquarters, where he refused a breath test, police said. He was charged with DWI, consumption of alcoholic beverages and operate motor vehicle by unlicensed driver on Jan. 9.
- Jennifer Morris, 26, of Holtsville, drove with a suspended license and registration, police said. She was arrested and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating motor vehicle w/ suspended registration and failure to stop at stop sign on Jan. 12.
Incidents
- A Nikon camera that was left on a bench in Village Park was turned in to police headquarters on Jan. 8.
- A work bag of assorted hand tools and drills was found on Fort Salonga Road. The woman who found them turned the belongings in to police headquarters on Jan. 9.
- Police responded to a Norwood Avenue home after they received a complaint of kids causing a disturbance in front of the home around 12:30 a.m. Jan. 12. Police spoke with the kids, who said they were on their way home and would keep the noise down.
