Northport Police Report: DWI, Domestic Dispute

Here are some of the incidents Northport Police responded to recently. None of the defendants has been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints in the report are only alleged crimes under local investigation.

A Highland Avenue man was charged with resisting arrest after a verbal dispute between mother and son on Sept. 1.

An East Northport man was arrested on Aug. 31 at 12:18 a.m. for driving while intoxicated on Fort Salonga Road.

A portion of Main Street was closed on Aug. 31, where power lines were down. The area remained closed until PSEG Long Island responded and the area was safe for traffic.
