Monday, June 8
At 1:37 a.m., police assisted Asharoken PD with a two-car crash and a DWI arrest on Asharoken Avenue.

At 7:22 p.m., a 35-year-old Northport man was arrested for seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Scudder Avenue.
At 9:12 p.m., police reported a lost kayak on Bayview Avenue. The owner saw his kayak at 8 a.m. and noticed it was missing at 6 p.m. The owner thinks the high winds detached the kayak from the mooring. The kayak is a Native green, two-person, 14-foot kayak valued at $1,500.

Tuesday, June 9
At 2:15 p.m., police reported a surrendered firearm. A woman surrendered a Colt .45 caliber handgun for destruction.
At 6:48 p.m., police reported a dispute in which a neighbor refused to return a soccer ball that belonged to her neighbors on Earl Avenue. Authorities spoke to the woman who said she was upset about the soccer ball being in her yard, but she agreed to return it.
At 7:18 p.m., police recieved a report of a suspicious event in which a man wearing a black track suit and a blue bandana was possibly exposing himself at Scudder Park. Authorities located the man that fit the description. The man did not admit to exposing himself, but he did admit to being in Scudder Park. The man told police he was under a lot of stress lately.
