Police Log: DWI Arrest After Crash, 911 Call at School

Friday, Oct. 7
At 12:14 a.m., a woman on Larkfield Road reported identity theft to police in which $500 in withdrawals were made from her account.

At 1:22 a.m., Christopher Morrison, 24, of Northport, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was pulled over for failure to signal a turn, unsafe lane change and no/expired inspection certificate on Fort Salonga Road.

At 11:38 p.m., police responded to a Stanton Street location to check on someone who left Huntington Hospital’s emergency room without being discharged. Officers spoke to the homeowner who said the person in question has not lived at this residence for six years. Officers were able to locate another possible address.

Wednesday, Oct. 12
At 12:52 a.m., police received an abandoned 911 call from Laurel Avenue School. Officers checked the inside to the school to make sure everything was ok. School security told police they were having trouble with their phone lines.
At 2:04 a.m., police observed a man lying on the side of Waterside Avenue who appeared to be suffering from alcohol poisoning. The man, who was conscious and breathing, was transported to Huntington Hospital by Northport rescue.
