Police Seek Public's Help in Identifying Fort Salonga Robber
The man robbed and pushed a 73-year-old to the ground earlier this month, police say.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man who robbed and pushed a 73-year-old man to the ground in Fort Salonga earlier this month.
According to authorities, the man was in the driveway of his Woodmere Drive home at 8:45 p.m. when he was pushed to the ground and robbed of cash. The man suffered minor abrasions when he fell and was transported by the Kings Park Fire Department to Saint Catherine of Sienna Medical Center in Smithtown, police say.
Police described the robber as white, 20 to 30 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium build and wearing a black and white plaid jacket with a hood.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
