“With the vote scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 28, the district wants to provide residents with as much information as possible so that the community can make an informed choice at the polls,” said Superintendent of Schools Robert Banzer.
The plan, totaling approximately $39.8 million, addresses improvements to basic building infrastructure items that are nearing the end of their useful life, as well as improved and modernized instructional spaces to facilitate improved instruction. The proposal also includes renovations to the district’s physical education and athletic facilities for student and community use, as well as the addition of security vestibules at each building to increase student and staff safety.
