The musical MARY POPPINS can be enjoyed live at Northport Community Theater this Friday and Saturday May 13/14 (curtain at 8) and Sunday May 15 matinee (curtain at 2) - - among the not-to-be missed performances are the incredibly talented, lively, amusing and heartwarming Kelsey Ehrensberger and Tony Butera as Mary Poppins and Bert The Chimney Sweep, Joe Centamore partnering splendidly with Naomi Pierro and Chelsea Brown as Mr. and Mrs. Banks; Meaghan Maher and Luca Bergin as the Banks children Jane and Michael alternating with their equally talented and delightful cohorts Kyra Perles and Luke Frisoli, Kathy Lau and Suzi Lustig giving knockout performances in the role of the holy terror Miss Andrew, and Miss Barri Feuer bringing laughs galore as the maid Miss Brill who shares household duties with the equally funny and talented Justin Autz as the butler Robertson Ay, and a comic tour de force by Erica Forsyth as Miss Corry - - and last but never, ever least the wonderfully talented Megan DeRiso bringing an enormously poignant performance as The Bird Woman. Also not to be missed are the fantastically talented tap ensemble of chimney sweeps consisting of a troupe of Northport High School juniors and seniors who bring down the house with their stage-shaking, go for broke tap number Step In Time. All these are joined by a wonderful cast of teens, kids, and adults, all terrifically staged and costumed and joined by a live pit orchestra!
