State Senate Seats for Suffolk County decided-Women's Rights NYS?

Tonight we learned in Suffolk County; where we stand in the State Senate Races which lie within the 12th NYS Assembly District. (2nd and 5th Seats).

I have lived here for 20 years-deep family roots in the community this is without question; and by running for office this year(Assembly 12th AD)-was where I learned the full impact of how caddy many have been in their political means of expression. It's one thing to wave a flag-it's another thing to torment a person inside an establishment or to purposefully damage one's personal property. If I'm wrong-I say so. Cowardly moves are just that-Coward tactics. Less focus on that and more attention to: Equality of Earnings Law for NYS Women-that's when we're in control of our destiny.

A loss of a Senate Seat to the GOP did nothing to change the situation of where women stand on equality of earnings law within New York State. New Members of the State Legislature will take position in 2021 have made it clear-they will vote against women's rights in the 5th Senate Seat (Mattera) and the 12th Assembly Seat (Brown). NYS doesn't have Equality of Earnings Law in statutory measures; meaning we are focused as a State on the usage of Case Law to determine our faith. Judicial review ultimately determines women's faith in Suffolk County still and until NYS legislates law that fully acknowledges Mine and any other female's right to Equality of Earnings; women are at a loss. Judicial in Suffolk has consistently voted against women's access to the docket systematically in civil and supreme matters.

Tonight's loss of Senate Seat speaks volumes of how women have been treated within Suffolk County.

As this years State Budget vote was approved in April 2020; NYS still has the ability to ensure that Women's Equality of Earnings is enacted before the end of December 2020. With the changing of the guard in Albany tonight' it's clear that Women's Rights of Equality are once again hanging on a limb and instead of the Legislature pushing off the vote any further; it's imperative for those of us who have retroactive employment claims with NYS be issued our "earnings". NYS holding any Female's earnings hostile is unethical. This week; as the dust has now settled with the Board of Elections determinations of State Legislative Seats-the existing class of State Legislators who hold offices are in position to vote in favor on the Maltese Equality of Earnings Law which will bring implementation process for myself; and women who have employment claims with NYS. Then in 2020-it's the New class of State Legislators to demonstrate in their voting where they stand on Women's Equality Issues and as Suffolk women; who we are-what is going to developed through out their term of 2 years.

Tonight; in my professional opinion-is a good to send your candidate a note thanking them for taking personal time away from their family and perhaps private employment to pursue elective offices. Tomorrow- the continued work of NYS Legislature present class must go to work-where does NYS stand on the business of ensuring that New York State comes into the 21st Century in Suffolk County by enacting the Maltese Equality of Earnings Law of 2020-which provides Women's Equality finally in NYS-by correcting Employment Inequality and implement Employment Equality processes going forward.

Women more than ever-need to remain focused as again; in my opinion as a Political Scholar-Women can only be Equal at large; when they we Equality of Earnings in New York State.
