Suffolk County Legislator Dr. Spencer spoke to the players in the NS Flag League about the health risks of 'energy' drinks'

Legislator Spencer introduced and passed a first-in-the-nation law that prohibits the direct marketing of energy drinks to children. It also established “The Truth About Energy Drinks,” a public education campaign to increase awareness of the potentially dangerous side effects associated with energy drinks and caffeine toxicity among children and adolescents.
