From Underdogs to Eatons Neck Youth Basketball League Champs
The Pistons were seeded No. 12 out of 13 teams prior to the playoffs.
The Pistons, a sixth and seventh grade boys basketball team, went from season underdogs to Eatons Neck Youth Basketball League champions last week.
The Pistons defeated the Heat in a close game, 26-24, Friday night at Northport Middle School.
Despite being seeded No. 12 out of 13 teams, the Pistons still came out victorious. This is Coach Tony Bettano's third year winning the championship.

The Heat was also a low seed (No. 10) in the tournament. Both teams were able to prove the seeding wrong and perform when it mattered most.
