Variety Students Warm the Hearts of Nursing Facility Patients with Handmade Valentine’s Cards

Students from Variety Child Learning Center’s East Northport campus (formerly the Bellerose Avenue Elementary School) recently crafted Valentine’s Day Cards for residents at the Carillon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Huntington.

The Variety students partnered with the JUNIOR Junior Welfare League of Huntington, the hands-on charitable club of the Junior Welfare League for girls in grades 6-12, which delivered the cards, warming the hearts of the nursing facility residents, who cherished them and appreciated the students’ caring and generosity.
