Why does Sen Flanagan vote against children and protect rapist?

For over 10 years there is talk in Albany about some form of the Child Victims Act.

Here are some facts. All of the bills provisions have been agreed to by all the parties except the one year look back period which would allow civil lawsuits for one year.

43,000 victims each year in New York State alone.....who is paying for this, we all are. As a registered nurse recently put it this is equal to a pandemic 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 5 boys under 18 are being abused.

There won't be a flood of lawsuit, in California when they did this they have well over 35 million state residents and only 1150 cases were filed. That works out to .003 percent of the population.

It's simple to and free to do the right thing protect children and it's free.
