The Rockland Road Runners 27th
Annual 5k Run/Walk Women’s Distance Festival will take place on Saturday, July
12th at 8:00am at Rockland Lake State Park, Parking Field #1. First 400 registrants receive a t-shirt
saying “I know I run like a Girl, try to keep up!” Proceeds from
the race benefit the Center for Safety & Change, which serves survivors of
domestic violence, sexual assault and all crimes. Awards given to the winner, special and club
teams! A free children’s run for kids
under 11 begins at 7:30am. Come out for
