
Nyack Hospital welcomes Adrienne Fueg, MD, FACS to its hospital staff, as the second female surgeon at the hospital’s breast center. Dr. Fueg, is a board certified surgeon who practices general surgery as well as breast and wound surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the Association of Women Surgeons and the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
Dr. Fueg received her medical degree from SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn. She completed her residency in general surgery at Lincoln Hospital/Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center in the Bronx, followed by a fellowship in critical care at Lincoln Hospital.
After seven years of private practice in Rockland County, Dr. Fueg worked at Elk Regional Medical Center in St. Marys, Pennsylvania for five years, before returning to Rockland County in October 2012. She currently is an attending physician at Nyack Hospital and is a surgeon at Highland Surgical Associates in West Nyack.
