The Rockland County Choral Society celebrate the country's 250th anniversary by taking the audience on an "American Journey in Song" featuring the words of Thomas Jefferson with "Testament of Freedom" by Randall Thompson, some popular tunes like "Route 66", "Take Me Out to the Ball Game", Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" & "I Got Rhythm",
Tiffany Jackson's spiritual "Elijah Rock" to Richard Rodgers "It's a Grand Night for Singing". We proudly salute those who served with "A Tribute to the Armed Services" and look at the future with hope in “Give Me Your Tired Your Poor" and "God Bless America". Under the conductor Dr Russell Wagoner and accompanied by Tracy Dobelle along with the Maybrook Wind Ensemble, this celebration will tug at your heartstrings as we remember the past and embrace a hopeful tomorrow.
