Dedication of the Rockland Road Bridge Historic District

The Piermont Historical Society invites the public to the Rockland Road Bridge Historic District Dedication on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 11:00AM. The distict includes nine historic buildings and seven sites, as well as its centerpiece, the endangered Rockland Road Bridge. 

After the dedication ceremony, which includes the unveiling of the new historical markers, the public is invited to the Outside-In Piermont for great food, drinks and wonderful music. Delicacies have been donated by Alain's French Bistro, cafe Portofino, Canzona's Market, Confetti's, Sidewalk Bistro, Slattery's and The Market. Come swing to the wonderful sounds of Piermont's own Old No.7 Band. At least five historic district residents will open their doors to "peek tours", including the Silk Mill and Ferdon Hall, more may be announced later.
