Candlelight Vigil to Mourn Orlando Victims
The Thursday event will start at Village Hall.
There's a candlelight vigil to commemorate the Orlando victims scheduled for Thursday, according to the Nyack Chamber of Commerce newsletter:
The Village of Nyack in collaboration with the Rockland County Pride Center will hold a candlelight vigil at 6 p.m. June 16. Meet at Nyack's Village Hall and walk in solidarity with our LGBTQ brothers and sisters to Veteran's Park where we will honor the lives of our lost family.
Rockland County is also sponsoring a vigil. Organized by the county Commissioner of Human Rights it will include representatives of Rockland's faith communities and LGBT groups.
