Martin: A successful, known architect, 45-55 years old (flexible.) He is clever, sincere, witty, sensitive and honest. He’ll accept the truth no matter what the truth may be.

Stevie: Martin’s wife, reasonably close to his age. Smart, stylish, attractive, fiercely supportive and witty. She can hold her own with any man.

Billy: Son to Martin and Stevie. Billy is smart, witty and sensitive as well as being openly gay and in High School. The actor playing Billy must be at least 18 years of age.

Ross: A good friend of the family. Ross is a focused, down to earth businessman who helps promote Martin and probably has a crush on Stevie.

James Leeds: 30’s - Speech teacher at a State School for the Deaf (Helpful if familiar with ASL)

Sarah Norman: 20’s - Deaf from birth (must be a Deaf or HoH actress)

Orin Dennis: late teen’s - mid 20’s - Has some residual hearing, lip reads, speaks and signs

Lydia: Late teens - early 20’s. Has some residual hearing, lip reads, speaks and signs

Mrs. Norman: 40’s -50’s Sarah’s mother

Mr. Franklin: 30’s - 50’s Supervising Teacher at the Deaf School.

Edna Klein: 30’s - 50’s Lawyer
