Back Bending - a "deepening your practice" workshop taught by Jill Ganassi, certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor
Backbends are the most invigorating and uplifting category of asana. Come recharge your spirit and learn how to safely open and extend the front of your body while stabilizing and strengthening the back. We will work gradually and methodically toward full back bending postures such as bow, wheel and beyond. This practice will help conteract the doldrums of winter and prepare us for the renewal of spring! Designed for experienced beginners and intermediate students, but advanced yogis and teachers are welcome!
Jill Ganassi has been studying yoga since 1996 and teaching since 1998. She is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor and is dedicated to practicing and teaching yoga in the method and tradition of B.K.S. Iyengar.
