Farmers Markets Weather Winter

Westchester Magazine reminds us that the farmers market phenomenon isn’t just for summer and fall.

Here are five that they highlighted, plus two more -- in Nyack and in Brewster -- that we know and love.

Pleasantville Farmers’ Market: at Pleasantville Middle School, 40 Romer Ave., Pleasantville, from 9 am-1 pm Saturdays through March 26.

Chappaqua Farmers’ Market: at First Congregational Church, 210 Orchard Ridge R, Chappaqua through April.

Mamaroneck’s Down to Earth Farmers’ Market: at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 168 W Boston Post Rd, Mamaroneck (914) 923-4837 through April 16.

Hastings-on-Hudson Farmers’ Market: at James Harmon Community Center, 44 Main St, Hastings through May 28.

Ossining Down to Earth Market: at First Presbyterian Church, 34 S Highland Ave., also Route 9. Saturdays through May 14.

Nyack Farmers Market: Thursdays at the Nyack Center, corner of Depew and South Broadway, through March 26.

HVR Farmers Market: Sundays at 15 Mt. Ebo Road South (off of Route 22), Brewster, NY. Local growers and producers.
