All hedges, bushes, grass & other plants need to be kept trimmed so that they do not block or overhang the sidewalks.

At corners, to help avoid accidents, sight-lines for drivers need to be kept clear - fences, hedges, etc. cannot be higher than 42". Please be sure your property is in compliance.

When maintaining your property, remember that the verge (the grassy area between the sidewalk and the road) is the homeowner's responsibility.

Any plantings in the verge need prior approval from the Village board.

Village trees cannot be trimmed without prior approval from the Village board.

Removal of private trees which are 8" or more in diameter needs prior Village approval.

Landscapers are required to remove all debris.

Have a wonderful weekend and take a moment to thank our Veterans,

Bonnie Christian
