NY Thruway Drug Charges For Pennsylvania Woman

State police said they stopped a car at about 3:14 a.m. Tuesday in South Nyack for a vehicle and traffic violation.

NYACK — A Pennsylvania woman faces two charges in South Nyack after a traffic stop on the New York Thruway Tuesday.

State police said they stopped a car at about 3:14 a.m., on I-87 in South Nyack for a vehicle and traffic violation. During the interview of the driver for the traffic violation, probable cause to search the vehicle and its occupants was established.

The driver of the vehicle, Aressa E. Grady, 29, of Hughesville, PA, was found to be in possession of about 8 ounces of marijuana. She was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Tarrytown where she was charged with:

Grady was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of South Nyack Court on March 29, 2018.
