Find out what's happening in Nyack-Piermontfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
We chose the name because it incorporates the word “house” which is what we sell and our street name is Roundhouse Rd.
Why choose that location? Why start a business in this town?
Because I live in Piermont and wouldn’t think of working from anywhere else.
Briefly, what business are you in?
Real estate residential sales and rentals.
What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?
Knowing your limitations when it comes to advertising. Everyone wants you to advertise with them but there are only a few legitimate places that have the greatest return for you investment.
Were there any challenges that made you second guess your decision to be an entrepreneur?
Not yet but I’m sure there will be in the future.
What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?
The fact that we are still here, we opened in 2010 in the midst of one of the worst real estate markets in recent history. Each year we continue to grow.
What’s the most innovative idea your employees or customers have had that you put into practice?
Investing in a high end camera in order to showcase our properties as best they can.
How do you deal with difficult customers?
I try to help as much as I can but if there is no chemistry I do not work with them.
How does your business give back or get involved in the community?
We sponsor various events in the Piermont area.
