Rockland County executive, Ed Day, proposed a budget that cuts 100% of all funding to contract agencies. These nonprofit agencies provide critical services including: feeding the hungry, helping survivors of domestic violence, providing cost effective and accessible mental health counseling and after school programs for children. And that’s the tip of the iceberg.

Tragically, the proposed County Executive budget cuts the entire Sheriff’s patrol division.

These devastating across the board cuts account for 1% of the budget but will impact every Rockland resident.

Please tell County Executive Day that proposing a budget on backs of pantries and police is not effective. These cuts will decrease our safety and quality of life here in Rockland County. Please sign the petition by clicking here!
