Police: Drunk Driver Hits Squad Car
South Nyack officer unhurt, woman taken to hospital

A 64-year-old woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated Saturday night after rear-ending a marked police car on Rt. 9W in South Nyack, said.
The police officer was standing outside his vehicle speaking to a driver he had previously pulled over when a Dobbs Ferry woman, Darlene Miller, drove up and bumped the squad car, trapping it between her vehicle and the other, authorities said.
The officer was unhurt; Miller was treated at and released into police custody. Miller refused a breath test, and will appear in village court on Jan. 9 at 5:30 p.m.
