Chicken Nuggets Recalled Due to Possible Plastic Contamination
The item should be returned to the place of purchase or thrown away.

A food product has been recalled because of possible contamination with plastic material.
Perdue Foods LLC has recalled approximately 4,530 pounds of chicken nugget products produced for Applegate Farms, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The problem was discovered when consumer complaints were received saying there were small, solid, clear plastic pieces inside the chicken nuggets.

The produce description is as follows: 8-ounce boxed packages containing approximately 18 piece of Applegate Naturals Chicken Nuggets, with the best before date of Sept. 27, 2016.
They bear the establishment number “P-2617” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

Retail distribution center in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New York and Texas were shipped the items.
The products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
