St. Thomas Aquinas College Names Danielle Schmalz New Admissions Counselor
Oneonta Alumna Danielle Schmalz hired as new STAC Admissions Counselor
(SPARKILL, NY—February 11, 2016)--St. Thomas Aquinas College recently appointed Danielle Schmalz to the position of admissions counselor, announced Samantha Bazile, director of Admissions.
Schmalz (Middletown, NY) graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Family Studies and a minor degree in English from the State University of New York College at Oneonta. In her role as admissions counselor, Schmalz will be responsible for recruiting undergraduate students, reviewing applications from her territory and working with accepted students and their families on the admissions and financial aid processes. She will also assist in the coordination of various campus events hosted by the admissions office.
During her time as a student, Schmalz worked in her college’s Admissions Office, giving tours, training prospective tour guides and assisting in admissions events. She was also a member of several committees on campus, making her a strong representative for the institution.

“Danielle has assumed a strong supporting role for prospective STAC students in her position as Admissions Counselor,” Bazile said. “She will represent the College throughout New Jersey and assist in driving initiatives to enroll students. Danielle’s experience as an admissions tour guide while in college will also serve her well as a key member of our Admissions Team,” Bazile added.
