State Bar Association President Honored by County Legislature

Women's Bar Association of the State of New York President Andrea F. Composto, Esq. Honored By Rockland County Legislature

(NEW CITY, NY, June 17, 2015)...The Rockland County Legislature honored the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York’s (WBASNY) President and Nyack attorney, Andrea F. Composto, Esq., at their bi-monthly Legislative Meeting by declaring June 16, 2015 as “Andrea F. Composto, Esq., Day.” Rockland County Legislator Nancy Low-Hogan presented Andrea with the prestigious proclamation.

Andrea was installed as President of WBASNY at their annual convention held on May 16, 2015 at the Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing, New York. WBASNY is the only state-wide bar association whose sole mission is to promote the advancement of women in the legal profession and to improve the status of all women in society. WBASNY includes over 4,200 diverse members, encompassing eighteen chapters statewide. This year marks the 35th Anniversary of its founding.

Andrea F. Composto, Esq. is a partner at the Law Offices of Composto & Composto, located at 15 N. Mill Street, Suite 218, Nyack, New York, together with her father, Frank A. Composto, Esq. Founded in 1932 by Andrea’s grandfather, the late Honorable Frank Composto, Justice of the Supreme Court, Kings County, the firm handles cases in all areas of Civil Litigation, Personal Injury Commercial Law, Contracts, Real Estate, Wills & Probate Administration. The firm is also a State certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE).
