Suicide Attempt on the New York State Thruway in South Nyack

A woman jumped off the overpass at the Broadway Bridge in South Nyack at about 1 p.m. today, police said.

State police called to southbound I-87 at mile marker 16.4 arrived to find the37-year-old lying on the northbound shoulder of the Thruway.

The woman was transported to Nyack Hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries, police said.
