Thruway Driver Had Pound Of Pot: New York State Police
Troopers stopped the car for traffic and vehicle violations and then found probable cause for a search.

SOUTH NYACK, NY – A driver from Utica faces drug charges in South Nyack, state police said. At 10 p.m. Tuesday troopers stopped a car in South Nyack, citing several vehicle and traffic violations.
They said they found probable cause to search the vehicle during their interview of the driver.
Tyquan J. Singleton, 31, of Utica, NY, was found to be in possession of about 1.2 pounds of marijuana. Singleton was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Tarrytown, where he was charged with:

Singleton was awaiting arraignment in the Village of South Nyack Court at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, police said.
