A 12-year-old was also stabbed, according to authorities.

A Spring Valley woman was arrested after being accused of trying to kill her significant other. Spring Valley police charged Maria Norales-Bernardez, of Spring Valley, with attempted murder and first-degree assault, felonies, and criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor.

Police received two separate calls around 3:30 a.m. July 21 about stabbing victims — one from Good Samaritan Hospital and the other from Nyack Hospital.

The investigation found Norales-Bernardez had been involved in a domestic dispute with her significant other and stabbed him multiple times, police said.
