Game Day Dinner Crowns 2026 Master Chef and Supports Hospitality Scholarship (ellicottvillenow.com) — A sold-out Game Day Dinner in the Greater Olean area crowned Randy's Fireside chef Brad Nitsche as 2026 Game Day Master Chef while raising enough money to endow the Greater Olean Hospitality Scholarship. Local restaurants, students, and volunteers showcased Olean's hospitality history, with awards crafted from the Hospitality Monument and the historic Theodore Roosevelt tree in Lincoln Park.
3. Save Our Enchanted Mountain Ridges Alliance Meets to Discuss Fight Against Hemlock Hollow Wind Project (tapinto.net) — Residents from Olean and nearby towns packed the Olean Public Library to organize opposition to the proposed Hemlock Hollow Wind Project, which could place up to 19 turbines around the area. Deputies say drugs were found after stopping the vehicle in Olean, and the woman now faces controlled substance and impaired driving charges, while remaining presumed innocent until proven guilty.
