Join Nyack Art Collective for a special First Friday performance at 7pm August 7 at 3 N. Broadway, Nyack! There will be live music by Tamuz Nissim Jazz Ensemble and dance by Debra Weiss Dance Company. In Celebration of Women's Equality Day, the program will feature original songs composed by Nissim, a rising star in the NYC jazz scene, as well as music associated with noteworthy singers from the past, including Judy Garland, Billy Holiday, and Nina Simone. The choreography will reflect the diversity of the Nyack community, including Latin Dance, Haitian Dance, Modern Dance, and Voguing. ADMISSION IS FREE. No reservations are required. Refreshments will be served.
First Friday runs from 7pm until 9pm. Parking is free in Nyack after 7pm.
