Antoinette F. Daddazio: Member of Senior Citizens Hall of Fame

Mrs. Daddazio was 95.

Antoinette F. Daddazio, a lifelong resident of Ossining, passed away peacefully at home on August 10, 2014. Ann was born on November 11, 1918 and was the daughter of Sebastian and Theresa Frugis.

She married Albert Daddazio on June 16, 1940. Ann attended Ossining Schools and during WW II, work at Eastern Aircraft in Tarrytown. For many years she worked as a local florist and on the election voting polls. On December 8, 2008 she was inducted into the Westchester County Senior Citizens Hall of Fame. Ann was a former member of the Women of the Moose and the Columbiettes, Ossining Women’s Club, the Ossining Senior Citizens and Golden Agers Group # 1.

Ann was predeceased by her husband Al and is survived by her son William (Lee), daughters Annette Robison and Susan (Thomas) Rimm, five grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. She was also predeceased by sisters Catherine, Mary and Jeanette and brothers Frank, Kosiff and Stanley.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Ann’s Church. Entombment will follow at the Ferncliff Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 or Phelps Hospice,701 N. Broadway, Sleepy Hollow, NY 10591.
