Assemblywoman Galef Announces Series of Town Meetings
Constituents are Encouraged to Attend Meetings to Discuss Local and Statewide Issues with Assemblywoman Galef in Q&A Style Town Meetings
State Assemblywoman Sandy Galef is starting the new year by announcing a series of town meetings she will be hosting throughout her Assembly District in January and February. Constituents are encouraged to attend one of these meetings to hear about the Assemblywoman’s legislative priorities for the 2020 session, and offer their ideas, comments, and suggestions.
Galef will cover topics such as newly passed election reforms, environmental protections, the STAR property tax program and more. She will also touch on local issues such as the decommissioning plan for Indian Point Energy Center, education funding for local school districts, and getting an accurate count of our municipalities in the 2020 census.
“I look forward to hearing suggestions and ideas from the community and encourage everyone to come to have a conversation about what is happening throughout New York State,” Galef said.

In case of inclement weather, call Galef’s district office at (914) 941-1111 or the local library for an update on whether the meeting will proceed as scheduled. The meetings are free of charge and no RSVP is required.
