Assemblywoman Galef Discussing Ossining Updates On her TV Show “Dear Sandy”

Assemblywoman Galef discusses the Town of Ossining with Supervisor Dana Levenberg

Assemblywoman Sandy Galef hosts Ossining Town Supervisor Dana Levenberg on her cable show “Dear Sandy.” Levenberg, in her second year as Town Supervisor, explains recent progress and accomplishments on various projects with Assemblywoman Galef.

They begin by discussing recent efforts to make Ossining more sustainable, which have resulted in a new grant from New York State that encourages further progress in promoting energy-saving practices. Levenberg and Galef also address recent constituent concerns regarding the taxation and regulation of local golf courses, the recent opening of an art center in Cedar Park, and other contributions to the local art community. Additionally, the two discuss the intersection of sustainability, healthy living, and effective transportation. The topics that are discussed in this episode focus on important issues facing many localities and different ways in which they are being addressed in the Town of Ossining.

“I think there is a lot to learn from what is happening in Ossining,” said Galef. “The Town of Ossining has done a fantastic job of creating projects that benefit the town in the long term while also improving the health and well-being of citizens.”
