Does Your Vote Count? National Popular Vote and the Electoral College
New York State Assemblywoman Sandy Galef invites the public to attend a forum on Thursday, January 12th at the Croton Free Library about National Popular Vote and the Electoral College. The speakers will present a wide variety of perspectives and include the following ethics professionals and representative advocacy organizations
NYS Assemblyman Jeff Dinowitz – Sponsor of NY’s National Popular Vote Bill
Hendrik Hertzberg – Political Analyst for The New Yorker, Board Member of Fairvote.org

Dr. Jeanne Zaino – Professor of Political Science and International Studies at Iona College
“I have received phone calls and an overwhelming number of emails with questions about the Electoral College and the National Popular Vote efforts,” said Galef. “I hope this will be an informative and interesting discussion for all attendees, and that we will have a thought provoking conversation about different angles of this particularly current issue.”

The forum will take place Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Croton Free Library, 171 Cleveland Drive, Croton-On-Hudson, NY from 6:30-8:30 pm.
