Bill retired in the early 2000’s after over 40 dedicated years as an equipment installer and supervisor with telephone companies Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent Technologies. A United States Air Force Veteran, he was always fond of aeronautical science, mathematics, engineering, and astrophysics. In his quiet moments he spent time reading complex texts of math formulas, astronomy, and working calculus problems just for the fun of it. His love for music and classic movies introduced his sons to a diversity of art and musical styles that continue to influence them to this day.
Bill always radiated an aura of strength and confidence which could only be overshadowed by his beaming smile, infectious laugh, and keen sense of humor. A man of reason and logic, he garnered respect reminiscent of men from a time long passed. Beneath his unwavering strength and steely stare, Bill held a deeply emotional and tender bond with his Wife, Claudette, seldom seen between two people anywhere at any time. Their love and devotion to each other through all of life’s challenges was for the ages and will live on in the hearts of all who knew him and them as a couple.
