Borgia Supporters Disgrace Themselves Shaming DV Victims

It is unfortunate that Mr. & Mrs. Arrucci, personal friends of Catherine Borgia, wrote a letter to the Daily Voice editor with false information. I am setting the record straight on the Patch as well, so there is no confusion.

Our nephew, Reed Outhouse, 1^st Assistant Chief of Buchanan Engine Co. drives HIS issued Fire Chief’s car, not Bob Outhouse, as alleged by the Arruccis. There are only 3 Chief's cars driven by the 3 chiefs.

My husband was injured in a line-of-duty car accident. His injuries required back surgery and he was subsequently retired on disability; “unable to perform the duties of a police officer.” No one ever said he couldn’t drive ANY type of vehicle, as alluded to by the Arruccis.

They also assert Ms. Borgia’s endorsement by my husband's “co-workers.” as a personal slight. It was the PBA BOARD who safely only endorsed incumbents across the board, it was not the will of the MEMBERSHIP. Bob’s supervisors wrote several glowing letters of endorsement published here.

So in her quest for “background material” and her rush to again stab at my husband…more fabrications.

This is the second attempt at a personal smear campaign by Catherine Borgia via Carol and Ray Arrucci. Ray Arrucci posted in an Ossining Taxpayer’s Facebook group, a post that re-victimizes myself and my three children. I am shocked and appalled that my children’s former teacher and her husband would resort to this kind of behavior to bolster Catherine Borgia’s campaign.

Mr. Arrucci posted a comment and link to my family tragedy, a shooting incident that happened to me in 2006. It occurred after years of domestic violence against me that had then turned against my children. It was Robert Outhouse that gave me the strength and support to attempt to leave for the safety of all of us.

This same link was posted on Catherine Borgia’s Facebook wall Saturday by another “friend”. Catherine Borgia only had it removed when shamed to by another poster. But refused to denounce this type of behavior.

The circumstances are personal and irrelevant to politics, as are Ms. Borgia’s, which were never publicized. Yet, we have been the subject of a whisper campaign for months. Personal attacks and issues should not be used for political gain.

Ms. Borgia claims to be a champion for domestic violence. THIS is an attack on all victims of domestic violence, by a desperate woman and a desperate campaign.
