Buckle Up NY Campaign Writes 48 Tickets in Westchester
Seatbelt violations, cell phone violations, speeding violations ... all in a 6-hour detail
On June 3, in furtherance of the Buckle Up NY campaign, the New York State Police conducted an occupant safety and distracted driver detail in Westchester County. During the six hour detail the following traffic tickets were issued:
28 seatbelt violations
4 cell phone violations
6 speeding violations
10 other traffic violations
