Westchester Collaborative Theater

From June 19 – 28, Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) in Ossining will present the world premiere of The Thomas Hardy Project, an award-winning play by Becca Blackmore, a nationally recognized, multiple award-winning&nbsp;playwright based in Esopus near Kingston, NY. WCT was one of only six theaters&nbsp;nationwide selected as a regional producing theater for the nationally renowned&nbsp;NewPlayFest, a festival launched by the AACT (American Association of&nbsp;Community Theatre) in 2014.

Axial Theatre’s SAFEHOUSE New Playwrights Series continues on Saturday, June 27 at 4 PM with a staged reading of A Little More Than You Wanted to Spend by Chris Clavelli, directed by John Hickok and featuring Duane Rutter.
This darkly funny and deeply personal new play explores grief, resilience, and the surprising ways we find meaning after loss. Through humor, honesty, and storytelling, Clavelli transforms life’s most difficult moments into a moving and unexpectedly uplifting theatrical experience.
The reading will take place at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 8 Sunnyside Avenue, Pleasantville, NY.
SAFEHOUSE is Axial Theatre’s new play development series, dedicated to supporting playwrights through professional staged readings and audience engagement.
