Catherine Siciliano, Lifelong Ossining Resident, Dies at 83

Catherine L. Siciliano, a lifelong resident of Ossining, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015. Catherine was born in Ossining on December 7, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Michael and Viola (Gioio) Lobus. She was 83.
Catherine was a former school secretary at both St. Augustine’s and St. Theresa’s Parochial Schools. She was also a former secretary at Sing Sing Prison. Catherine was a member of St. Ann’s Church.

Mrs. Siciliano is survived by her two daughters Anne Zimmerman (Gary) and Valerie Doyle (David); two sisters Mimi Robinson (David) and Gail Fiero (George); four grandchildren Ryan and Colin Zimmerman, Christopher and Jonathon Doyle; Many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Peter and her sister Rose Stephens.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday (today) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Dorsey. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church, 25 Eastern Ave., Ossining. The interment will follow at St. Augustine’s Cemetery in Ossining.
