Charlie Aviles: 80
Visiting hours and funeral services for the former Ossining resident are coming up this week.
“Charlie”Confesor Aviles of Cortlandt Manor, formerly of Ossining, died on Mar. 23, 2013; he was 80.
He was born Sept. 18, 1932 in Laris, Puerto Rico, 1 of 14 children.
Charlie worked for the Historic Hudson Valley, most recently at the Van Cortlandt Manor in Croton-on-Hudson. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, son John Thomas and brother Enrique.

He will be reposing Tues. 7-9 pm and Wed. 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Leach & Thomas Inc., 32 State St., Ossining.
The funeral service will be 10 a.m. March 28 at First Presbyterian Church in Ossining, with burial to follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
