Croton-Harmon District Voters Pick New School Trustees

Here are school budget and board vote results.

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — Residents of the Croton-Harmon school district approved a 2022-23 school budget on Tuesday plus and elected one incumbent and one newcomer to 3-year-terms on the Board of Education.

The $52.67 million proposed budget was approved with 85 percent of the vote. The spending plan comes with a 1.92 percent hike in the school tax levy. That is within the state's tax cap for the district so the budget only needed to be approved by a majority vote.

Four people including school board incumbent Joshua Diamond and Cathy Connolly, Greg Burns, and Theo Oshiro were on the ballot. Trustee Iris Bugliosi did not seek re-election.
