Croton-Harmon School Calendar 2021-22: First Day Of School

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — Before you know it, the 2021-22 school year will be starting. The first day of classes for the Croton-Harmon school district is Sept. 1.

Whether or not you and your children are looking forward to the new school year, you will want to write down the dates in your calendar as soon as possible.

Here is the full list of dates to know for the 2021-22 school year:

• 9/6 Labor Day
• 9/7-8 Rosh Hashanah
• 9/16 Yom Kippur

• 10/11 Columbus Day

• 11/2 Superintendent's conference day
• 11/11 Veterans Day observed
• 11/24 Half day
• 11/25-26 Thanksgiving recess

• 12/8 Half day for students
• 12/24-31 Holiday recess

• 1/17 Martin Luther King Jr. Day

• 2/21-25 Winter recess

March

• 3/11 Superintendent's conference day

• 4/11-15 Spring recess

• 5/30 Memorial Day

• 6/20 Juneteenth
• 6/24 Last day

Weather make-up dates:

• If no snow days are used, school will be closed on the following days: 5/27, 4/18, 5/26
• If one snow day is used, school will be closed on: 5/27, 4/18
• If two snow days are used, school will be closed on: 5/27
• After six emergency days are used, and if additional emergency days are needed, school will be in session in the following order: 4/11, 4/12, 4/13
